Engineering Approach
Working to the contractor's fast-track tender clock, FEEC set the process design basis for the topside module and ran the supporting steady-state simulation to fix the heat and material balance and the duties of the major equipment.
From the simulation FEEC sized and listed the principal equipment, defined the technical scope of supply, and prepared the equipment RFQs the contractor needed to price the package.
A Class 5 capital cost estimate was built on top of that equipment basis, giving the contractor a single coherent technical and commercial story to put into the bid.
